A Barnwood History
Barnwood was established in 2020 as a premiere event space. With
offerings in Weddings, Corporate Events and Other large gatherings
it was designed to offer exceptional guest experiences.
Stop The Car!
There was a For Sale Sign in the
front yard...
We (Julie and Dave) had driven
by the property many times. Julie
commented if it ever goes up for sale
we should buy it! And there it was,
a For Sale Sign in the Front Yard.
What’s even more crazy is that the real
estate broker was the best man in our
wedding!
We Bought The Farm!
In 1995, sold our house and moved to the country...
The existing farmhouse
is a side by side duplex.
We renovated to t our
growing family. The farm
had a small red barn we
used for storage of our
tractor, lawn mower, and
other garden supplies.
This is now the site of your
wedding venue.

Both Julie and Dave have a passion
for nature and the outdoors. Julie
expresses hers in creating more and
more gardens. Dave expresses his

Before Your Wedding Day
1 hour “Save The Date” photo session on site with signing of your
contract and deposit.
Meeting with event staff to nalize vendors, table setup, use of
Barnwood decorations, bar packages, and any other nal details.
Wedding Barn - Indoor Features
Exclusive use of facility for up to 14 hours including setup and take
down of wedding. Additional hours available at $200/per hour

Barnwood Events features some of the oldest trees in the state. With many
beautiful trees creating a great backdrop for your wedding.
There are plenty of
parking spots for all of
your guests at
Barnwood Events.
Many of our couples
also book rooms at
nearby hotels that
provide shuttles so
your guest can get
to Barnwood Events
on time and make it
home safely.
There are two getting ready rooms equipped with mirror stations, TV and
mini fridge. The larger of the two rooms also has its own powder room.

that Barnwood Events is the most incredible place for a wedding.
EVERYTHING about the venue, the people running the show, and
the beautiful facilities is top notch. We cannot thank Barnwood
enough for all they did for us to make our day absolutely magical. I

Friday, Saturday and Sunday Events are $700 less than May -
October. Monday-Thursday rates are $500 less than May - October
Holiday Rates*
Holiday Events are priced at Saturday May-October Rates.
Holidays include: New Year’s Eve and New Year’s Day,
Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving
Day, Christmas Eve and Christmas Day and Associated
Weekends for each Holiday.
More Than 200 Guests*
Additional fees beyond minimum fee (200 persons) to maximum
capacity of 300 add $500 for 200-250 guests and additional
$500 for 250-300 guests for additional setup and take down.
Cash/Check Discount
If you pay with cash or check we will discount your items reserved
at initial contract signing by 3%.
Guest count will be based on
the nal guest count given 30 days prior to wedding event (no
adjustments for no-shows).
Hours of Use
Friday and Saturday events are 10:00am -11:00pm (all guests
must be off-property by 11:30pm). Vendors and any persons
assigned to gathering personal items should be off property
within one hour of the last song – no later than 12:00am.
Sunday and weekday events must end by 10:00pm (all guests
must be off-property by 10:30pm). Vendors and any persons
assigned to gathering personal items should be off property – no
later than 11:00pm.
Vehicles may be left overnight but must be gone by 10:00am the
following day.

Ceremony Locations
There are multiple locations you can host your wedding ceremony including an indoor
option if the weather doesn’t cooperate. To help make your ceremony unique to you,
we oer many options for arbors and backdrops included in the ceremony fee.
Ceremony Fee
$600 for Setup of up to 200
guests and take down of
chairs, setup of portable sound
system and portable arbor
for ceremony site (inside or
outside) and one-hour rehearsal
scheduled with Barnwood Staff
the week before your event.
Add setup fee of $100 for 200-
250 guests and an additional
$100 for 250-300 guests.
Guest count will be based on
the nal guest count given 30
days prior to wedding event
(no adjustments for no-shows).
Damage Deposit
In addition to your venue rental, all weddings pay a $1000
Damage Deposit. The Damage Deposit is due 30 days before
your wedding date and is fully refundable according to the rental
agreement.
To Reserve Your Date
50% non-refundable deposit for venue and initially reserved items is
required with a signed rental contract. Dates will not be held without a
deposit and signed contract.
30 days prior to event: nal count, bar choices and selections, remaining
balance (50%), damage deposit, and additional items costs due.
Bar Packages are separate pricing – see Bar Packages for additional
information.
We know things happen – if you must cancel or change your date,
contact us immediately. If we can reschedule for your date at full price,
we will refund all but $500 admin fee.
5.5% Sales Tax is not included in the pricing listed.

Make Your Wedding Unique
Wedding Planning and Coordinator Services
We highly recommend making your day easier by reserving one
of our experienced on site wedding coordinators. Your wedding
coordinator will have two meetings with you prior to wedding and
coordinate your day to make it go smoothly.
If your a couple who would like additional help in the wedding
planning process we also have additional planning and design
services. To get started with help planning your wedding please
contact us at Barnwood Events. Please inquire about our options.
DIY Photo Booth
Use of pallet wall backdrop, disposable cameras or Polaroid w/
lm for 60 photos $300
Decorations
The barn is equipped with custom designed lighting. We provide
100’s of decorations and lanterns at no additional charge. You
may still add your own touch w/orals and table decorations.

Snacks
Make your own S’Mores – available after dinner until - 10:00 pm
Fire pit or indoor roaster, roasting sticks, marshmallows, chocolate &
graham crackers $2/S’more (50 minimum)
Late night Pizza – available from 8:30 pm – 10:00 pm;
$18 per pizza (6 minimum)
Pretzels available from 8:30 pm 10:00 pm;
$2.5 per pretzel and cheese sauce (50 minimum)

What’s Not Included
Linens and tableware can be rented through Barnwood Events or
you can check with your caterer.
Hours outside of contracted time can be purchased for $200/per
hour for the day of, day before or day after for setup and take
down. Subject to availability.

On-Site Lodging at the Farmhouse
The 1800’s Renovated Farmhouse is available to rent for your
wedding party, families of the couple or guests. The farmhouse
sleeps up to 14 guests. Available on a rst come rst serve basis.
50% deposit is due to reserve. Final 50% balance due 30 days
prior to event.
Four bedrooms, 3 baths plus additional sleeping areas. The
downstairs has a full kitchen, living room, one bedroom, sleeping
area, 1 full bathroom, 3 season porch and dining area. Upstairs
includes 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, and screen porch.
Outside vendor and catering fees not included Cost: $675 per night plus
$150 cleaning fee per stay and 5.5% sales tax. 2 night minimum
RV Electrical Hookups
If you are renting the farmhouse and you still need additional
space for your wedding party, we have two electrical hookups for
RV’s on the east side of the parking lot. (These are only available if
you are renting the farmhouse and need additional space).
Cost: $50 per electrical hookup.
The farmhouse is designed to give your family or guests the option to
stay on site. Some people use it for their wedding party while others use
it for family members who are traveling from out of town. The farm-
house can be a great option for your wedding.

In addition to the two tap beers that we always carry, Spotted Cow
and Coors Light; standard hosted packages of 4 hours or more can
choose 1 domestic and 1 craft tap, and one house brand signature
drink. All house wines, house brand spirits, bartender stafng fees are
included. Non-alcoholic drinkers are $5 per guest.

Hosted Premium Bar Package Includes:
In addition to the two tap beers that we always carry, Spotted Cow

We can accommodate the setup of a portable bar and bartender
in the 4 season porch or outside. Cans of beer and soda, glasses of
wine and disposable service ware are available with the portable

permission of event host.
Barnwood Events staff reserves the right to refuse to serve alcohol at
any time for any reason.
The Wisconsin state liquor commission regulates the sales and service
of alcoholic beverages.

from outside sources.
Alcohol choices are subject to availability.
Bartender fees of $100 per hour will be added to hours that are

Relax and Get Ready Options
While you are getting ready for your wedding we know you
may get thirsty. Barnwood Events has a full liquor license so
anything with alcohol can’t be brought into the facility. So, we
have beverage options you can purchase ahead of time for your
bridal party. Please inquire about our options.
Ala Carte Hosted Bar
Beer
Can be purchased in a variety of keg sizes. Pricing and
availability can vary depending on selection and time of the
year. Please inquire about pricing.
Wine
Can be purchased by the case and pricing varies depending on
selection. Please inquire about pricing.
Cash Bar Option
Guests can purchase drinks at their own expense. Available
items will be dependent on what we have on hand. We can
accept both cash and card payments during cash bar times.
Bartender fees will be applied for the hours of cash bar or Ala
Carte Bar and Bar Minimums apply. Please contact us to inquire
about pricing.

“My wife and I could not have asked for a better
location than Barnwood to host our wedding! Dave and Julie
were so kind and welcoming when we rst toured the venue.
Their excitement for Barnwood helped fuel our own excitement
and help us visualize ourselves getting married at this beautiful
location. There are multiple locations that you can choose for
your ceremony depending on your preference, we choose
the beautiful giant oak tree out front. The weeks leading up to
our wedding; Julie and the coordinator that we hired through
Barnwood, Taylor, were so willing to answer all of our questions
and helped us tremendously leading up to the wedding day.
We opted to rent the attached "farmhouse" which was a super
convenient option for the guys to all get ready and have a place
to hangout before the ceremony. Barnwood also has contracts
with some local hotels for shuttles which prevents the hassle of
your guests worrying about driving back to their hotel after a
long night. The day of the wedding went so smoothly, thanks to
Taylor. My wife and I knew we were in good hands and that we
didn't need to stress at all because Taylor handled everything
with our various vendors. We loved everything about Barnwood
and you will too!”
