You only need to submit ONE scholarship application to apply for ALL scholarships

at Bloomsburg. Scholarships are awarded based on various criteria, usually reflective of

the donor’s values, and may include GPA, major, club participation, and hometown. Some

scholarships are one-time awards while others may be renewable. To qualify for need-

based scholarships you must submit the 2024-2025 FAFSA at www.fafsa.gov. Applicants

are expected to maintained good citizenship as members of the university community.

For Summer 2024, Fall 2024, and Spring 2025 incoming

and transfer students.

No scholarship application is needed! Scholarships are

automatically awarded by Admissions.

Opens  January 1st, 2024

Due  March 1st, 2024 Letter of recommendations due March 15th

Notify  Awarded students will receive a scholarship notification

to their university email late May 2024 from the Financial Aid Office.

For students currently enrolled during the Spring 2023 semester at Bloomsburg and

who will continue enrollment in the upcoming 2024-2025 academic year.

*currently enrolled ACE high school students are not considered current students for scholarship purposes,

please review the below information for New Students

SCHOLARSHIP PAYMENT Awarded scholarships will be listed as part of your financial aid package

and will be applied to your university tuition bill at the start of the Fall 2024 and Spring 2025 semester.

SCHOLARSHIP AGREEMENT Some recipients may be required to complete an online scholarship

agreement which will include a thank you letter to their scholarship donor, this will be noted on the

award notification email you receive from the Financial Aid Office. Additionally some recipients may

receive an invitation from the BU Foundation to attend a scholarship reception to meet the donor.
